The rest of the summer

So to the rest of the summer...

The first thing was graduation. A lovely sunny (thank god) day. It was lovely to see everyone again and say goodbye to them all even if the ceremony is now a haze of clapping.

Then it was off for our family holiday cruising around the Italy area!

Then to Cornwall for a lovely couple of days in the caravan with W and his mum. We were able to see a sunfish when we went out kayaking which was pretty cool as they are rare around the uk and swim as though they are drunk.

And then it was off to work to earn some money for my trip. Work turned out to be far more enjoyable than I thought! Although I guess that's down to the lovely people I was working with.

And finally in the middle of work was Burla. The beach frisbee and hangin out with the Bears was amazing. The A&E trip whilst dressed as cruela de ville and the 101 Dalmatians was not so good. But at least now I can look back and laugh an can safely say that was one of the best weekends ever. Definitely going to miss all the Bears whilst I'm away!

And now I'm off travelling next week.. How time flies! Can hardly believe I'll soon be jetting off. It has kind of always seemed like something I'm going to do, rather than something that is now happening!

This week, after an all out panic and major freak out that I wasn't going to get my Visa for Australia on time (thank you Peter forcing me to do it), has been spent going through the list of jobs. Turns out there is a lot that needs doing (plus a huge number of goodbyes) before you fly off around the world for 9 months! Who would have thought it!

Now all I need to do is finish that list and some how fit everything into my rucksack, easy right?

Post exam trips

So I was just about to write about the rest of summer to help me get into the habit of blogging and I find that this never posted... So here it is! The rest of summer will follow at some point!

Exams are finally done and I've graduated with a first class masters degree in physics! Pretty chuffed to be honest!

Have had a lovely couple of weeks to celebrate the end..

Headed off to center parcs first with most of the house and my lab partner. We went boating, quad biking, did a high ropes course and went to the best American dinner were they served the best BBQ ribs!

Boys playing jenga

Next was the last ever school days, pop, grad ball, sports ball and the summer party (by the rivers are amazing-check them out!)

Club colours :)

By the rivers

Then it was times for Bears holiday which was stressful being in charge and waiting for results didn't help but I found out on Southend beach my results :) so nice yo be able to share the good news with so many of my friends. Going to be so strange and so hard not having my frisbee people next year!

Then after a manic few days of moving out and a wedding we headed to Dublin to visit the Perry's.

SP's boyfriend gave us a lovely guided tour of Dublin town and then SP joined us in town for the pub! Still not a fan of Guinness but it tastes much nicer here than anywhere else.

For day 2 we left the house before 6 for a coach trip to the cliffs of moher! The landscape was beautiful and I loved hearing about the history, even though we ended up racked with guilt!

Also visited giants causeway which was pretty fantastic :) my quite what I was expecting from the pictures I've seen but stunning none the less.
